Every photograph is a city diary that she offered for us and if you let yourself to her photographs you can understand this language and read it.

Bakmayı ve görmeyi küçük yaşlarda öğrenen, sanatsal çalışmalarındaki disiplini, enerjisi, fotoğraf altyapısının güçlü olması ve fotoğrafa olan olağanüstü sevgisi Melissa Mey’i fotoğraf dünyasında ön sıralara taşımıştır.
Fırçasındaki üstün yeteneğinin yanı sıra, fotoğraf sanatındaki güçlü deklanşörü ve değişik bakış açılarına sahip olması onun fotoğraflarının etkin olmasını sağlayan önemli faktörlerdir.

Şehrin, önemsenmeyen ara sokaklarının saklı tuttuğu gizleri bulup çıkarmaktan keyif alan, son birkaç yıldır grafiti ve yansımalar serisi için çalışan bir gezgin Melissa Mey ve bunları tutkuyla gidip karelemek onun artık yaşam biçimidir. Bu serisinde uzun yıllar yaptığı seyahatlerinden izleri paylaşmakta sanatçı.
